I am writing this letter for Mr. G. Davis, better known as Guy, due to his tremendous work on installing new sidings on my house. Guy's work was different than any house in our neighborhood and, if I must say it is better.

Guy takes his time and explains every thing he will be doing to your house and if you have suggestions you want to make he works with you. He completes his jobs during the time frame he has given you and makes sure the area around your house has been cleaned when the job has been completed.

Guy is not only a person working on your house he becomes a friend as well. I found him to be very trustworthy and a man of his word.

I find it easy writing a letter of recommendation for Guy because I don't have to sit and try to input words that are not true or try to make Guy out to be a person that he is not. When Guy sits and talks to you regarding his work, what you see is what you get, a man of God and one of the best workers you are going to find.

Guy has his own technique of making even the smallest object on your house look good, and he gets satisfaction out of his work.

I had the pleasure of hiring Guy Davis of Guy's Custom Exteriors and Original Design in the spring of 2013. Guy installed replacement windows for our entire house (19 windows), and a patio slider door. I'm Very pleased with his attention to detail and the overall end result.

Shopping around for windows was quite an experience since I didn't know much at the beginning. The 2 best things I did were to talk to several companies, and to educate myself on what distinguishes a quality window from a cheap window. After talking with 4 other contractor's and window companies, I decided on choosing Guy for the job. I found that a big box store, such as Home Depot, would have charged much more. Others, such as high volume window companies, had competitive pricing, but their installation and/or windows would have been inferior.

In the end, I choose Guy, because he showed me that his installation was superior to the hurried, caulking mess that some companies pass off as sufficient. I appreciated Guy physically showing me one of his high quality jobs and a neighboring house that had windows which were poorly installed by a different company. The difference was clear to see.

I also appreciated Guy's patience as I shopped around for a quality window. He wasn't pushy in trying to sell any specific window brand to me. Instead, he offered suggestions, and patiently waited as I researched various products on-line. I ended up deciding on the ViewPoint 8900 Series window. This is actually an Atrium brand window, and I'm very impressed with the features and performance at a good price. The windows are fiberglass reinforced (more sturdy construction), have a U-factor of between .18 and .21 (r-5 window), have an air infiltration index of .08 (very low air leakage), have a DP rating of 60 (can withstand hurricane force winds), and are triple pane (my home is much more insulated and quieter now). The stainless steel constant force balance system also makes them easy to open and close. The windows also come with a glass-breakage warranty and an overall warranty for peace of mind. I'm happy to have received an excellent window that I will be confident with for years down the road.

Throughout the installation, Guy was a great communicator and paid attention to detail. Our job was done with care and precision. Guy was honest, and didn't surprise me with any hidden fees. His crew was respectful of my home, and they cleaned up after themselves. I'm very pleased with the work that they did. I highly recommend "Guy's Custom Exteriors and Original Design" to any conscientious home owner looking for quality replacement windows and installation at a competitive price.

We would like to thank Guy's Customer exterior for their excellent work and craftsmanship, we recommend his services.

We had aluminum soffits adn trim replaced on our entire two store home with Cedar. Much care was given to their work with extra effort in the details; unique soffit moldings added to the frint of our home were installed with care. Custom work done around our dormers and front moldings added attractive curb appeal.

Cedar siding on one side of our home was damaged from years of sun exposure, Guy replaced nearly 400 Lineal feet of Cedar, we were very happy with the result.

Guy also supervised the installation of our NEW roof gutters and down spouts. Damaged wood trim around garage Guy wrapped with Aluminum and the appearance is excellent.
